Little Rock motorcycle accident kills 1, injures 3

The week’s worth of severe weather in the south has certainly affected communities. Outbreaks of severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flooding can wreak havoc on so many parts of our community, including roadways.

Do you use extra caution on slick roads? Slick roads could increase the risk of Little Rock auto accidents, and the road was wet during a recent Little Rock motorcycle accident that killed one and injured three others, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

The Little Rock motorcycle accident happened when the 57-year-old driver lost control of his bike and crashed into an oncoming Pontiac. The driver and two children in the Pontiac sustained Little Rock auto accident injuries. The driver of the motorcycle died.

Authorities said the road was wet when the Little Rock motorcycle accident occurred.

Little Rock auto accident kills one man, injures two women

April 21, 2011

When cars malfunction while in motion, drivers may be forced to take action at the scene. Sometimes this may mean letting the car cool down or changing a tire. Either way, drivers face risks when they perform maintenance tasks on the side of the roadway.

Unfortunately one man and two women experienced those risks first-hand during a Little Rock auto accident that occurred when the man was changing a tire on 29th Street, according to Today’s THV.

The Little Rock auto accident happened when the man who was changing a tire was hit by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene of the crash.

The Little Rock auto accident also injured two women who were passengers in the vehicle that was struck.

Pedestrian Hit-and-run accident leaves 1 dead, 2 with minor injuries

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Thursday night, officers responded to a hit-and-run accident at 4611 West 29th Street in Little Rock.

Witnesses told police Ladelle Bland, 59, was changing a tire on his car when he was struck by an unknown black vehicle that left the scene, heading east on W. 29th.

Beebe Woman Killed

Arkansasmatters.com reports:

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says a Beebe woman died in a traffic accident this morning in the northern part of the county.

The two-car crash that claimed the life of Danielle Gardner, 26, happened around 7:30 along T. P. White Road outside Jacksonville near the county line.

Tragic accident claims life of Rector teenager

The Rector and Piggott communities are in mourning following the tragic death Wednesday morning, April 6, of a Rector teen.

Kayley Dare Bell, 17, was killed when her 1999 Pontiac Firebird was struck by a Union Pacific train while traveling along County Road 481 near Rector.

Alma Student Struck by Vehicle

As reported by the SWTimes.com:

An Alma High School student was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street to school Wednesday morning. Her injuries were not serious.

The girl was in a crosswalk about 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Spring and Main streets when an inattentive driver hit her, said officer Todd Medlock, resource officer at the school.

Two Killed in Saline County Accident

Two lives were lost in separate vehicle accidents that occurred in Saline County during the past weekend, local authorities reported.

The victims were identified as Donnie Morris, 46, of Alexander and Nicholas Blake O’Rear, 18, of Benton.
