Man trapped in flooding vehicle after Arkansas auto accident

A man was trapped in his flooding truck for more than an hour before rescuers pulled him from the vehicle after an Arkansas auto accident Tuesday, The Morning News reported. 

The man, 79, was driving over a low-water crossing when his pickup got swept away in flash flooding, causing the Arkansas auto accident victim to be trapped in his truck. 

When rescuers arrived, they stabilized the truck by attaching it to a road grader and pulled the Arkansas accident victim from the vehicle. 

The man had minor injuries from the Arkansas auto accident, and he was treated on the scene and taken home.

Wal-mart pulls bottles due to possible Arkansas defective product injuries

Wal-mart has pulled baby bottles containing bisphenol A (BPA), a controversial plastic, from its store shelves, citing the possibility of Rogers defective product injuries, 40/29 reported. 

According to a study by the National Toxicology Program, plastics containing BPA may be associated with Rogers defective product injuries, such as increased risks of early puberty and/or breast cancer. 

Though the American Chemistry Council says that low levels of BPA are not toxic to humans, Wal-mart has pulled baby bottles made of plastics containing BPA from its shelves due to the possibility of Arkansas defective product injuries

Two charged for failure to stop in Arkansas auto accidents

April 17, 2008 

Two men have been charged with failure to stop in two separate Arkansas auto accidents, the Log Cabin Democrat reported. 

One man was charged for failing to stop after an Arkansas auto accident when a pregnant woman was hit by a white Cadillac that was doing a U-turn.

The other man, whose court appearance has been postponed until a language interpreter is acquired, was charged for failing to stop after an Arkansas auto accident when an Expedition hit a man and his brother, who were on bicycles.

Two die in Arkansas auto accident caused by flooded roadways

April 15, 2008 

Two people have died in an Arkansas auto accident that occurred on a flooded roadway Friday night, Fox16 reported. 

A couple drove through a road barricade blocking a flooded highway, but the water was too deep and the vehicle sank, causing the Arkansas auto accident.

The Arkansas auto accident victims, 55 and 59, didn’t make it out of their car before it sank. 

This is the second Arkansas auto accident this week due to flooded roadways.

School bus catches fire in Arkansas auto accident

April 10, 2008

A bus driver noticed smoke coming from the front console and outside of the bus while she was transporting elementary school students Monday, Fox16 reported.

The bus driver evacuated all the students safely and waited for the fire department and police to respond to the Arkansas auto accident.

There were no Arkansas auto accident injuries as a result of the school bus fire.

The name of the driver involved in the Arkansas auto accident has not been released, though she is being praised for leading the children off the bus safely.

Teens hit trooper’s car in Arkansas auto accident

April 8, 2008 

Two teens were arrested after an Arkansas auto accident involving three cars, including one state trooper’s car, 4029 reported. 

The trooper was in a turning lane when a 17-year-old male driving a SUV hit his car head-on and a 17-year-old female driving a car rear-ended the SUV, causing the Arkansas auto accident

The driver of the SUV tried to flee the scene, but his vehicle was damaged too severely. 

Alcohol was involved in the Arkansas car accident, but neither of the teens was injured. 

The trooper suffered minor injuries in the Arkansas auto accident. 

The teens involved in the Arkansas auto accident were charged with driving while intoxicated, minor in possession, possessing drug paraphernalia, and possessing the drug Valium.

Woman arrested after Arkansas auto accident

April 3, 2008

A woman was arrested after an Arkansas auto accident Monday, 4029 reported.

The Arkansas auto accident occurred when a school bus side-swiped the woman’s car when she was stopped on Mount Harmony Road waiting to turn.

When police arrived at the scene of the Arkansas car accident, the woman was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol and was arrested.

The driver’s arrest was not related to the Arkansas auto accident. None of the Arkansas auto accident victims was hurt.

Body of missing Arkansas auto accident victim believed to be found

April 1, 2008 

KATV7 reported that the body of a man who was missing after an Arkansas auto accident is believed to be found. 

An Arkansas auto accident victim went missing after his pick-up truck was swept off a low-water bridge March 17. 

The body believed to be that of the Arkansas auto accident victim was found seven miles downstream from where his truck was found. 

The body will be sent to the state crime lab for identity confirmation.
